Manager, Community Outreach and Training Programa

Planned and reviewed Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS strategies to appropriately fit and address sociocultural aspects which were affecting implementation of programs and activities to our beneficiaries. Worked closely with supervisors of clinical services at health facilities in Gulu, Amuru, Adjumani, Kitgum and Moroto to ensure uninterrupted support and treatment of the beneficiaries. Built and maintained very strong relationship with community, and as a result the organization enjoyed good cooperation through-out the period of the project ranging from district and cultural/religious leaders and women groups. Due to good performance in delivery assigned responsibilities, I was awarded community outreach consultancy assignments from July 2010-2011 when donors’ funding got affected due to the then credit crunch crisis in Europe and the USA.
