  Prepare statutory consolidated accounts for the group using FRS102 SORP. Deal with external audit.Using the relevant INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS such as IAS 19, IAS 23,IAS 32 to prepare and produce financial statements.Prepare lead schedules and provide relevant information required by both internal & external auditors.Ensure that the financial statements are free from any material misstatements by fulfilling all responsibilities.Ensure efficient and effective controls are in place with a strong corporate governance.I liaise with budget holders to prepare budgets & Cash Flow Forecasts which follows regular meetings to discuss progression. Once the budget has been drafted it is sent to the board for approval.Prepare quarterly management accounts which is then presented to the finance committee and the board by the CEO.Complete all other book keeping duties such as preparing and submitting quarterly Vat returns, managing both purchase & sales ledger and running month end closure which consists of all control account reconciliations. Complete payroll for all of the companies in the group. Deal with the acturials who provide us with a report illustrating the movement in the defined benefit pension plan. Show less
