  In the last two years, I shifted his focus to develop himself into a solution architect role. His deliveries crossed the whole IT solution lifecycle from pre-sales, bidding, project solution design, solution optimization and rebuild, to solution planning, etc. The essence of these deliveries nevertheless is the same – to identify the pain points / critical requirements of the current business solution and propose a solution that best fits customer needs and brings most value. Show less With the SAP HANA strategy and SAP China investment plan, the focus in year 2012 and 2013 becomes co-innovation project implementation in domestic market. During this period, there are chances to implement BW on HANA prototyping projects and Go-live projects as well for lighthouse customers in China. With no exception I take the leading roles in these projects not only in terms of project execution, but also in terms of solution architecture design. These projects are not restricted to one industry solution but they share something in common – cut edge and hot new technologies. Solution design and implementation were key value in this period. Show less The main focus of deliveries in these four years is product support. Root cause analysis for product issues is the key skillset based on which various support services were delivered including production-down escalations, business performance optimizations, technical integration check, technical feasibility check, etc. This was the period when the knowledge base of BW technologies and BW functionalities on code level was built up. System maintenance and system optimization were key value derived from the knowledge base. During this period, the chances to access and support global top SAP BW customers were valuable assets. This includes Nestle in Switzerland, BHPB in Singapore, GDF in France, Audi in Germany and many ad-hoc customer cases. Show less
