  Key Responsibilities:• Operationalize and implement data collection strategy and methodologies on the risk of zoonotic disease transmission in 5 districts of Bangladesh under the USAID Global Health Security Agenda.• Writing task includes summarizing research findings, draft literature reviews, co-produce short reports, and fact sheets for policy advocacy and scientific publications.• Monitoring and evaluation responsibility includes data quality assurance across 7 field sites in Bangladesh and reports to the ECHA HQ in New York and USAID Dhaka Office. • Research communication responsibility includes drafting and presenting a quarterly progress report to the donor and different stakeholders, such as the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, USAID, and FAO.Key Achievements:• Designed and co-authored 2 manuscripts on the risk of pandemic threats of zoonotic diseases in Bangladesh based on 78 interviews and 10 group discussions conducted at the community level over the 2 years.• Co-authored for 4 scientific posters, presented in conferences in the USA, Thailand, and Bangladesh. • As a qualitative research expert for the national infectious disease surveillance team, designed 4 (H5N1, H9N2, NIPAH, and Leptospirosis) infectious diseases outbreak investigations and presented final reports to the Ministry of Health, USAID, and WHO.
