  Supports Membership Retention and Volunteer Development at the premiere leadership organization for girls in Greater Los Angeles. Manages a team of four staff that oversee 14 neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles and Long Beach. Key drivers listed below result in regional retention and engagement of 5000+ girls and 2000+ leaders and volunteers each year:- Creates goals and reports for ongoing retention efforts and campaigns.- Manages and creates the budget for our department with co-managers.- Oversees inter-departmental communication to ensure effective collaboration and organizational success.- Researches new and retained current partnerships that created opportunities for girls in underserved communities.- Manages escalated disputes within my region.- Hosts quarterly meetings with our key volunteers to gain insight on their experiences as well as share pertinent information. Show less Manages and supervises volunteers, compliance and goals for multiple neighborhoods, Service Units (SU) approximately 2,600 girls and 1,500 adults. Attends and plans monthly evening troop leader informational meetings for each SU. Develops and presents information, training, fliers and links for upcoming events, volunteer requirements. During SU meetings answers questions and eases concerns volunteers have. Strategizes plans to recruit and retain new volunteers for new troop opportunities. Manages disputes through resolution for troops within SUs, via phone, in-person interviews, and parent meetings. Compliance Management including CRM database is up to date with troop grade level, meeting location and members as well as Mid Year and End of Year Financials for 200+ troops. Runs reports through CRM (Personify) via Data Analyzer (Crystal Reports) to track new membership, retention and annual membership goals. Liaison with multiple departments to ensure information regarding SUs, changes in procedures, and new events are disseminated. Researches new and retains current partnerships that create opportunities for girls in underserved communities. Maps out Service Units based on zip code boundaries to assess potential of schools, girls and volunteers in each area. Attends, organizes, and supports neighborhood events to provide information to current Girl Scouts and potential new Girl Scouts and their parents. Created and implemented council-wide tracking system for incoming complaints/concerns, training staff on the new procedures via online presentation (GotoWebinar). Maintain tracker and follow up with corresponding staff on outcomes. Show less Thrived in a constantly changing environment with necessity to prioritize and work on multiple projects at once. Researched department’s current condition, which included heavy data and reports. Assisted with developing plans and implemented new clearance and onboarding procedures for 3,000 plus volunteers. Created process maps and workflow plans for current and future department/council procedures. Built multiple surveys and analyzed results to research volunteer opinions on events, procedures and overall customer satisfaction Managed incoming rosters for volunteer training and ensured entry of attendance into database within 24 hours. Part of multiple event planning committees (events ranged in size from 200-10,000 attendees). Taking and distributing meeting minutes, light travel planning and scheduling. Council contact for Nationally planned Convention and Council Session, which included planning travel and lodging for 30 people including business dinner, attending monthly webinars and conference calls to receive updates to relay to local volunteers and staff, and organizing training for Delegates and staff to prepare for the week-long event.
