Firstly, we distinguished his comprehension of synergy from a very complex work in which the issue has not been developed systematically by differentiating between the period that precedes the beginning of the Monothelite crisis, where Maximus faces recurrences of Origenism, and the period truly marked by the Monothelite controversy. Secondly, we demonstrated the contemporary relevance of Maximus’ doctrine of synergy in providing new lines of reflection as to the understanding of man, his freedom and his self-determination. Comment proposer une lecture théologique et spirituelle de ces événements ? Où est Dieu, Créateur et Sauveur, dans ces événements ? Est-il indifférent ? En est-il responsable ? Impliqué ? etc. Peut-on et jusqu'où est-il possible de discerner les « racines » du mal ? Qu’est-ce que le mal au final ? Est-il absolu ou relatif ? En nous ou dans le monde ? Ces questions nous conduiront à redécouvrir la force d'un Evangile vraiment œcuménique, attestée dans différentes traditions chrétiennes, aux prises avec les drames du monde contemporain. Voir moins
