  In 2008 I was promoted to Customer Advisor at the Wexford branch where I was based for a further three years. This role involved looking after the complete financial requirements of the branch customers as well as referring business to other bank departments such as insurance , finance etc. I also looked after the local secondary school initiative to educate students on banking best practice which was a great success. After two years studying at WIT I decided Construction Management wasn't the career for me. An opportunity arose in Bank of Ireland Gorey where I was then based for almost four years. Duties included customer advisory and cashier duties etc.

  In 2011 I decided to take a one year career break from the bank so I travelled with friends to New Zealand. After a couple of months travelling I wanted to experience the world of banking in a global branded bank. I successfully applied for this HSBC role where I was based for the duration of my stay in NZ. A fantastic opportunity and experience where I worked closely with the Relationship Managers on some of the highest profile accounts responsible for the majority of everyday transactions on these accounts.   Upon returning home to Ireland after NZ I took the Customer Advisor role in the Arklow branch. During this time I started completing the series of QFA exams to become more qualified in the entire area of banking. In July 2014 I was then transferred to the commercial branch of Enniscorthy which is a much busier and more business related branch which I enjoy. During my time at this branch i was the branch champion for recruitment of second level student accounts. I work closely with the Insurance & Investments Manager to achieve the annual targets for this area. My focus for 2016 is in the area of personal lending and credit cards and to actively manage that targets are being achieved on a monthly basis. Show less
