    • W. Smith Capital Appreciation

      Sept 2013 - now
      President

After four more years of more school that I hadn't envisioned 25 years ago, I have completed academic, work experience & background check & full body cavity required for certification as financial planner to balance the demands as an Enrolled Agent, compared ROI of a few choices of celebrations. Month diving in Maldives v. new gull wing McLaren v. donating sufficient funds to have a wing named "in honor of"search @ Marin General. Opted for a business name change, new www. (in process) and double/double w/ everything at In & Out. None of the visa hassles, insurance boilerplate review,or annoying fund raising events with BCBG that accompanied other options. Aside from stubborn stain courtesy of In & Out, believe it was prudent decision. Tried to send Warren his annual case of Cherry Coke but he claims solvency in Omaha - tried to convince me w/ story about buying new train set, I let him talk if it makes him feel better. He insists on buying it himself these days. Sent it to his admin as solace for paying more income tax than (had to be there, huh) her boss. Upside of owning your own business is just about every title you want is acceptable. Downside is everything else. Got over that emperor complex -also 25 years ago when promoted/anointed head guru, spiritual advisor, & eyponomic founder of the chthonic Cleft Chin Society also 25 years ago. Organization skyrocketed from nascent to non-existent in 2.5 years' been there & (literally) bought the shirt Cleftus Maximus, Chinius Definius. Unfortunately, test results confirmed diagnosis of advanced periphrasis compounded by academic anastrophe. Will eventually result in le petit mort. Show less
