      Director & Consultant

Advising various UK Water Utilities on Power Generation from Sludge Gas and also on Works whole Energy Consumption Improvements. Created bespoke Energy Monitoring and Feedback Systems to enable Works Managers to do the same in future themselves. Whilst working as a Chief Engineer for Thames Water Utilities I was sent twice on behalf of the UK Foreign Office to the Ministry of Environment in New Delhi, India, to advise the then Environment Minister of India personally on Power Generation in Sewage Works and also on Sewage Works Thermal and Electric Energy Consumption Improvements. During my Consultancy Sessions in the UK I was Headhunted by Wessex Water Utilities to pre-design and supervise and monitor the Installation of a 5 MW Combined Heat and Power Plant for their Avonmouth Sewage Works of the same over a period of 2 years. This Combined heat and Power Plant (CHP) is presently after 10 years of life still running very trouble free and profitable. My Main Quality is providing short Energy Surveys and devising Plans ways to reduce Energy Consumption in Sewage Works and Industrial Power Plants. After providing a short Energy Survey and Improvement Plans, should the same be accepted I can then furthermore supervise and/or Control the Implementation of the same if required. Show less

    • Institution of Green Power & Diesel Engineering (IGPDE)

      Jan 2007 - Sept 2009
Owner, Director & CHP Section Head

The mission of the Institution of Green Power and Diesel Engineering (IGPDE) was to meet the engineering, academic, cultural, social and individual needs of it's members, for them to make a meaningful contribution to a Green Society in general! It provided a forum setting that encouraged members to reach their full potential engineering wise, academically and socially. Members were encouraged to participate in all activities of the IGPDE, but it was left to each member to what extend they were making use or contributing to the aims of the Institution! The reason I had closed this Institution which I had started in 2007 out of Enthusiasm for Diesel Engineering, was that I was further developing my life and concentrating more and more on Environmentalism, carrying out private studies to keep up with latest Green Environment and Energy Technologies which culminated in 2012 when I was appointed a Chartered Environmentalist by the Society of Chartered Environmentalists (SocEnv), the aims of this Society you can see at: socenv.org.uk Show less
