    • Transport for NSW

      Aug 2019 - now

Established and delivered a holistic professional development program that enabled a consistent and structured approach to building professional capability within the P&C division. It is important to note that I challenged historical constructs when designing the program. The content of this program was iterative and not tied to a specific curriculum or a development program in a Learning and Development purist form. I wanted to ensure that the program also enabled engagement across our division and was addressing the wants and needs of our people as they became apparent. The most successful component of this program was a series of ‘you can’t ask that’ forums where I brought together panels in an interactive session for our people to ask questions that they may have feared, been seen as controversial or not had the space to do so before. The topics included Mental Health, Aboriginal, LGBTIQA+, CALD inclusion and challenged our people and safety policies and procedures. Through humanistic and vulnerable conversations, awareness and capability was increased within our P&C community. This concept has been adopted and rolled out in several department and clusters across the NSW Public Sector. This program was sighted as a direct contributor to a 3 point increase in our Divisional PMES engagement index. Show less I manage and lead the development, delivery and review of activities, programs and interventions that build organisational culture and capability, underpinning strategic priorities and future delivery needs.- Strategically partner and consult with TfNSW key stakeholders to build culture and capability across the organisation.- Led the end to end program management of the TfNSW Recognition Awards across an agency of 10,000+ employees.- Drive agency participation in the NSW Government Public Sector employee satisfaction survey- Lead the dissemination and interpretation of these survey results to assist Divisional Heads in understanding insights and how to appropriately shape their people plans.- Work with and mentor business partners and divisional leadership to identify unique division needs and create solutions that shift the dial on employee capability, while balancing the overall delivery of TfNSW strategic capability requirements.- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and deliver programs and activities that meet a broad range of divisional and organisational requirements and outcomes.
