  Teleplan International is one of the top suppliers of high-tech after-market services and provides total life-cycle care solutions for the world of Computers, Communications and Consumer Electronics. Specifically, they are a global provider of after-sales services for IT and telecommunications industries.I started with Teleplan in Penang on their Seagate Hard Disk Drive refurbishment program. This was a program that was struggling operationally and financially and I was head hunted from Jabil in Reynosa, Mexico to restore its health. The program was focused on the "Back End Test" and "Clean room" operations. Within 3 months, the program was delivering all the customer metrics and became one of the company's top financial performers as well. I focused on a structured yield management system, materials usage analysis/ consumption/ reconciliation and created a strong management team, all of which contributed to a very strong and vibrant program.In 2007, we were awarded Seagate's "Best Suppler" award.   After 4 years with Teleplan International, I was promoted by the new COO to a senior leadership role in managing our 2 Mexican sites in Reynosa and Mexicali.In 2015, I was also given the responsibility of managing our sites in Dallas and Harrisburg, besides the 2 Mexican sites. The initial move was in recognition of turning around the Reynosa site while the 2015 move was primarily focused on turning around the Dallas site and help nurture the excellent young talent we had in the Harrisburg site.We captured several new programs including major multi-million dollar wins with Blackberry and T-Mobile in Reynosa and AT&T and Amazon in Dallas and Harrisburg.I spear headed the company's move into the Mobile re-manufacturing arena, focusing on reclamation of materials, thus helping drive down the cost of business and increasing profitability.My focus during this time was also on strategic planning, operations management, change management and leadership recognition.In summary, my role was to be responsible for the regional Operations of the company in North America, with 4 sites, located in Reynosa, Dallas, Harrisburg and Mexicali. The revenue was in the $100M range. The sites are responsible for the refurbishment and fulfillment of various consumer products such as printers, desktop computers, laptops, tablets, set top boxes, cell phones, displays and motherboards.
