  Participated in a program called CardioStart, which was focused on research on tissue engineering and providing high school students an opportunity to explore the field of bioengineering. I participated in a research to better the program and it entailed studying about tissue engineering as a field and taking a variety of tests to improve teaching techniques.

  My job entailed tutoring students from K-12 in English, Mathematics and Science. My responsibilities included mentoring pre-school to high school students, establish a fun working environment to keep focus and make learning entertaining through interaction, and rotational learning. Rotational learning is a way for students to focus on two subjects for 15 minutes, and one main subject for 30 minutes. I was in charge of keeping student logs which honed my organization skills.

  My job entailed taking care of inventory at the pharmacy, taking calls, putting prescriptions on hold, and attending to customers and reporting back to the technician pharmacist. This job required immense organization skills, quick and efficient thinking, as well communication and basic computer knowledge. I made sure the pharmacy had enough inventory, ordered more if necessary, and oversaw most of the processing of prescriptions and getting in touch with doctors.
