Duties include, but are not limited to, reading and presenting research studies, collecting and organizing data, preparing research studies, writing research papers, and participating in weekly lab meetings. Time commitment of 8-10 hours a week. Student grader/teaching assistant for CHEM 150: General Chemistry I for Engineers and Scientists (Fall 2021) and CHEM 151: General Chemistry II for Engineers and Scientists (Spring 2022).   Summer fellow in Dr. Riscoe's research lab (in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University) to develop a safe and effective anti-malarial compound, specifically in malaria strains that are resistant towards Atovaquone and Quinine. Worked to synthesize biphenyl Endochin-Like Quinolones (ELQs) via Palladium Coupling and Condensation/Cyclization reactions, and then conduct biological testing on compounds using blood cultures and IC50 titration curves.

I coordinated the administrative and medical needs of our patients, and work in both the front and back office.
