  Ekaza-Bridging The Gap is organized to foster access to higher education, persistence, and attainment of a meaningful postsecondary degree in a timely manner by providing educational support services to our most vulnerable student populations, including but not limited to minority, economically disadvantaged, first‑generation, and international students. Ekaza aims to close the gap in academic success between students across the state of Ohio, the nation, and the globe. Through our one-on-one customized academic support services, our approach is to meet our students where they are and thus provide a platform conducive to both academic and personal success. Ekaza reaches its goals by providing (1) tutoring services, (2) academic advising, and (3) academic mentoring services. Furthermore, Ekaza is engaged in stirring up a passion for innovation and creativity in our youth (grades 6-12) through its Academic Enrichment program in the area of STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Medicine).
