House leaders assist with adjusting to college workload, working on a high pressure group project for the first time, and getting involved on campus. Whitman Ambassadors are responsible for giving tours of the Whitman School of Management and providing crucial information to perspective students that help them make their college decisions. Peer mentors are responsible for guiding a group of students through orientation and meeting with them throughout their first semester to assist the students with their transition to the Whitman School of Management and to advise the group on how to complete projects for Perspectives of Business and Management.

  RAs are responsible for working together and with the OSL staff to ensure the proper functioning of DellPlain Hall. This includes filing reports, working in the office, and attending staff meetings. Last year, as a Learning Community RA, I was responsible for planning team building, social, networking, and professional development events as well as planning group visits for the learning community to tour businesses and network. Working with first year students, it was my duty to help them adjust to college and resolve a variety of issues, and as a Whitman Learning Community encouraging students to become active and involved in the School of Management.
