In cooperation with them I developed structured plant, regional and global energy reports for energy performance analysis and monitoring. Energy audits conducted at production facilities in Bulgaria, Singapore and Turkey resulted with identification of several energy saving opportunities that have been translated into capital projects saving over 10%, 15%, 25% energy cost respectively. I was further leading the processes of identification, establishment and integration of best practices and procedures across different parts of the organization. The main features of “Energy Star Program” and EU based ISO 16000 Energy Management standard were implemented in the global energy program. As global energy lead I was in charge of organization of monthly energy conference calls and yearly energy meetings to analyze the past energy performance, compare actual energy consumption and cost to budgeted figures, evaluate the progress of running/future energy saving projects and share the best procedures and practices.I also gave contribution to development and maintenance of “Energy Time Site”, a centralized system for storing and transferring energy management information within the organization. Energy training was organized to increase staff awareness and knowledge on best practices, procedures and technologies.I actively participated in the Group project design and troubleshooting of following systems: dryers, evaporators, heat transfer equipment, boilers, gas turbines, steam turbines, co-generation systems, heat pumps, gas scrubbers, and liquid, gas and solids transport systems.
