      • Director of Business Management responsible for multiple logic, memory, and wafer maker customers and regions with >$70M annual sales contracts• Lead development and execution of sales contracts to position leading edge equipment in World Class Fabrication Facilities.• Formulate, integrate, and coordinate Business Unit strategy for the accounts to achieve specfic market share. Jointly owns product strategy with sales.• Shape product development strategies around customer roadmaps and high value problems. Position Business Unit products in line with customer landscape.• Involve support organizations (spares, quality, etc.) to meet customer requirements.• Develop pricing strategy to introduce product enhacements to meet margin targets. Responsible for acheivieing Region level functional targets (gross margin, OpEx), book/bill commit and forecast• Prepare and present complex technical high level presentations to customers. Show less • Responsible for product marketing and project management to generate Market Requirements Specification (MRS), scorecard and revenue forecast for Etch products. o Scope include leading Product Life Cycle (PLC) activities to release Early Learning Shipments (ELS) and tool qualification to product release. o Develop marketing collaterals for new products and Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP).o Generate and maintain product roadmaps.o Develop Net Present Value (NPV) models as part of new product introduction.• Responsible for a team of product managers with the following deliverables:o Manage product portfolio by managing all changes to the product after release. Changes are driven by engineering, quality, safety, customer demands or supply obsolescence.o Develop and Manage Average Selling Price (ASP), Cost of Ownership and Consumables as part of product strategy for gross margin improvement.o Drive continuous improvement program roadmaps with suppliers, engineering and manufacturing organizations. Activity is based on competitive landscape, technical requirement and return on investment analysis.o Manage product and component implementations including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors and cost reduction.o Own system configuration, product structure, option tree and customer application packages.o Review and approve non-standard requests to accommodate customer needs for system configurations.o Drive engineering change controls, conduct product health reviews including field non-conformance,o Approve and manage implementation of Engineering Change Orders and Change Notifications. Work includes change implementation management on copy exact and customer communication. o Streamline product portfolio including implementation of End of Sale of legacy products. Show less • Key Account Technology manager and team leader for in-house and on-site process development. Manage process development in Etch Core Business Unit to develop new processes for Memory customers. Work included program and people management to perform demos, Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) and hardware qualification to establish tools at multiple customer sites. • Achieved Production Tool of Record (PTOR) status for 3D NAND and DRAM technologies at major customer sites. Customers selected Applied Materials as PTOR at their Memory fabrication facilities and placed multiple tool orders.• Closely collaborated with the Hardware Engineering Team for the evaluation/ qualification and release of the CIP items. Published Best Known Methods (BKM) on Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) Reactors and Capacitively Coupled Plasma (CCP) Reactors to enhance productivity in high volume manufacturing.• Developed and optimized processes on advanced ICP reactors to meet performance requirements for 1x nm technology node and beyond for DRAM and FLASH applications. Provided world-class performance on Critical Dimension (CD) uniformity across wafers with carbon and hard mask features. Development procured multi system sales to manufacturing.• Developed processes for the High Aspect Ratio Silicon Etch to manufacture trench capacitors. Annual revenue was >$200M and achieved 2% yield improvement with CIP. Team worked with the Simulation and Hardware teams to procure CIP items from concept to manufacturing. Show less • Provided cutting edge Etch processes on both CCP and ICP reactors to meet customer requirements. New process implementation at the customer sites provided multi-system sales and upgrades.• Performed demos for customers and demonstrated solid customer interface on joint development activities.• Provided guidance to the field technologists and trained process engineers to ensure superior performance.• Arranged and executed process marathons to demonstrate process and hardware stability• Presented technical materials to senior management at the customer sites and internally on a regular basis. Show less • Represented Applied Materials in a variety of semiconductor fabrication companies with diverse design rules and operational disciplines.• Performed process demonstrations to customers and tool startups on batch and continuous wafer processing systems to comply with BKM.• Developed processes on innovation and commercialization of ferroelectric capacitors to be used in FERAM devices: the work included iridium and iridium oxide PVD electrodes and Lead/ Zirconium/ Titanium (PZT) CVD thin films processing. Applied Materials systems were chosen for beta testing at customer sites.• Utilized troubleshooting techniques to overcome anomalies to return the systems to volume production• Negotiated with customers on specifications prior to purchase orders Show less
