      HQI Director: As Project Director, identify investment opportunities, evaluation of market potential, commercial viability as well as fiscal, legal and regulatory frameworks. Role included leading and coordinating multidisciplinary team. Investment analysis and project development, negotiation of transactions. Worked on the development or acquisition of hydropower and gas projects in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Croatia, Slovakia and Costa Rica. Vice-Président, HQ-Trigen Energy Services: As part of HQ US, developed and became vice-president of a joint venture with Trigen (subsidiary of La Lyonnaise des Eaux). Part of the management committee. Was also part of the partnership with Consolidated Gas for the development and the operations of the first 24-hours trading desk in the PJM market. HQI, Manager Project Finance: Performed feasibility and studies of international projects. Valuation of companies in view of acquisition or participation. Among others, performed a formal valuation of the U.S. largest hydropower producer, prepared an offer to the seller and structured a refinancing plan. . HQ, Senior Economist: As chief economist of the Non-Utility Generation department, was responsible for the development, and management of a program that led to the commissioning of fifty hydropower plants, the signature of half a dozen cogeneration projects as well as the development of wind-power, biomass and biogas projects. Actively participated in contract negotiations. HQ, Senior Advisor, Financial Planning: Participated in the assessment of various HQ’s strategic and financial issues. Review of Hydro-Québec's financial policy and participation to committees on alternative financing sources, financial criteria and comparative analysis with others utilities. part of the negotiation team with regards to the Churchill Falls contract. His works on these projects has led to the publication of many major WEC reports such as: “Pricing Energy in developing countries” and “Energy Markets in Transition – The Latin American Experience”.
