      Mar 2015 - Nov 2018
      Marketing Assistant

I was able to gain first-hand experience working in a team environment with a Marketing Department. It was an absolute privilege to be able to gain not just insights into Marketing and team coordination, but it also refined my character as I balanced multiple duties working with our Marketing manager and the other members of our team Our team worked to ensure that the Marketing needs were not just met for Precision but both of its subsidiary companies Go Green Synthetic Turf and Lexlawn Yarns. We coordinated with each of the respective managers for all of the companies to ensure that the websites, Product photography, email blasts, and logos were all to the management's needs. For my part as a Marketing Assistant, I assisted with multiple tasks to ensure everything was done properly while also doing other tasks as needed. For example, I was required to take multiple photos from different angles for the Artificial Turf products from the corner, backing, top, and side. We managed to have a small portable white tent that we could use as a photography studio where we also could place lights around the products so we could adjust lighting. I would then coordinate with the both Salesman who needed the pictures for advertising the products and our Marketing Manager to ensure that the pictures were up to standard. If any edits needed to be done, I would do the necessary edits in Photoshop to edit lighting and other touch ups for the products. In regards to the marketing for Precision's machine parts, the salesmen would have me take pictures of different repair parts that needed to be uploaded to the website that showed both before and after a repair was done, and they would also have me upload 3D models to their website ppiparts.com with their required size of 960 x 720 px. This was done through the e-commerce platform ShopSite where I posted exact descriptions for each part. Show less

    • Northwest Georgia Regional Library System

      May 2019 - now
      Library Assistant

For 5 years, I have provided top-tier customer service for library patrons by assisting them with their computer needs. Whether it is simple services such as printing and fax to more lengthy and demanding operations such as assistance with editing PDF documents or completing job applications, no task was ever too much for me to complete. I have on a consistent basis provided for every patrons' needs through phone or in person, and I have also ensured to assist them in finding library items through our PINES system. The Library has also helped me to gain skills that I would least expect besides the customer service and IT assistance. I have also acquired skills with inventory inspection and organization through checking in and out items for patrons whether it is audio-visual materials such as movies, audio books, music CDs or video games or placing different types of books in their different sections such as Regular or Large Print. Non-Fiction, Graphic Novels, Young Adult, World Language, etc. I also helped to sort the items going to other libraries and being brought in to us through the PINES inventory. One if the most important tasks that I did was assisting patrons in getting registered for a library card as this helps patrons to check out our items and use our computers. I ensure that all patron confidential information is entered correctly and is the most up-to-date by asking them to verify key information like address, telephone number, email, and if the individual is registered to vote or wants to be. I have also had the privilege to assist patrons in Genalogy research through our free Ancestry.com database so they can find out information on their family history. I would also record statistics at the end of the day/month. I have also recently had the privilege to gain valuable IT experience by setting up new hardware and ensuring our laptops are up-to-date with Windows 11. I also managed to successfully install Epson scanners to the laptops. Show less
