      Planning with Luleå Technical University a new Interreg IIIA Kolarctic project, which received funding. The project was based on cooperation between the Universities of Luleå, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Arkhangelsk and Murmask on environmental issues.

      I worked within the units of Finnbarents (Lapland University Of Applied Sciences) and NordTech (University of Oulu), sharing my time between both cities. I worked closely with the Luleå University of Technology, Murmansk State Technical University, and the University of Arkhangelsk. I build up a network of environmental expert in Northern Finland, which were able to be in contact with network of environmental experts in Northern Sweden and Northern Russia, thus improving cross-border relationship between those experts.       I improved greatly my finnish language skills by participating in "Finnish language and computer skills for immigrant" course (1.8.-19.12.2006). I reached National Certificate of Language Proficiency middle level. I also received the Certificate Information Technology Examination, A and AB-level. I learned a lot from my fellow students, that had moved to Finland from all over the world for various reasons.

      I learned to multitask, and to react quickly to crisis. I also helped my children develop their skills and learning abilities. I dealt with multicultural communications and misunderstanding problems, and increased my negotiating skills.

The service, which was flexible and extensive, responded to the needs of customers and society and promoted equality and well-being in Finland.       I was responsible for a national 6Aika/ESF project that develops client-oriented services in the field of employment and entrepreneurship. I lead the project in BusinessOulu and coordinated the cooperation of our 9 consortium's members nationwide. In Oulu, we developed a new low-threshold service point within BusinessAsema, where clients can get guidance and services on issues related to employment and entrepreneurship. BusinessAsema Service Desk (palveluneuvonta) provides services face-to-face, via phone and remote. The approach is multi-professional, with a wide range of services offered on a one-stop-shop basis through our numerous partnerships. We organize expert seminars for companies related to the data economy and artificial intelligence. I also worked in an ESF project (till Octobre 2023), where we develop pedagogical approaches and training materials for companies' working life visits to upper secondary schools.
