In my role, I provided leadership, assistance, support, and vision in the use of educational technology to the 152 public school districts in Mississippi. One major accomplishment was working with the MS Legislature and State Auditor's Office to allow the first online textbook to be included in the State's Textbook Adoption process. I worked closely with Mississippi's Information Technology Services agency to ensure all eRate regulations were followed and provided to district technology coordinators. Through this work, I also served on several national committees and task forces to strengthen Mississippi's use and integration of educational technology. Show less
