      Letter of Commendation US Navy Admiral/CO of NSAWC 2000 Award was given for taking decisive action to distinguish and make safe, regardless of self safety, an aircraft on the flight line which caught fire. Because of the fast reaction, no one was injured and the aircraft was able to be repaired and placed back in service. This action saved lives and millions of dollars.
