      Private math and science tutor for local families in STL. I was tutoring virtually while at college. This was typically 4 hours/week during the school year.

      Research focuses on erosion of wind turbine blades and designing a quantitative method for analyzing this. TA for Mechanics of Materials course. I regularly communicate with professor to discuss work and evaluate the course. I create detailed rubrics for weekly homework assignments and grade based on each rubric’s criteria. I am responsible for organizing and hosting review sessions before exams for students to ask questions outside of the classroom. RA during academic year. I mentor undergraduate students through their first years at TU. One of my tasks is organizing and hosting multiple events throughout the semester to encourage good habits. This job requires quick thinking to solve problems and address resident concerns as they arise. I completed TU's Tulsa Undergraduate Research Competition (TURC) this past summer. I worked with my mentor, Dr. Steven Tipton, to apply section 8.1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code to SolidWorks. I spent most of the summer comparing equations for different variables (such as thickness or maximum pressure) to understand their relationship.

      I studied genotypes and phenotypes of CRISPR-Cas9 mutants in Dr. Elizabeth Haswell’s plant microbiology lab as part of the Center for Engineering Mechanobiology (CEMB) at Washington University in St. Louis. This research poster was presented at Washington University in St. Louis’ Symposium (Aug. 2021) and at the Biomedical Engineering Society’s Conference (Oct. 2021).
