May 2016 Saved USD 12000 of BU by investigating the reason behind repeated cracking of the quartz torch at customer places during the cooling cycle after switching off plasma. To estimate the location of the heat load within plasma torch was the biggest challenge. Hence I had written the complete numerical code for Non-Equlibrium Plasma in SCILAB software and successfully found the heated zone inside the quartz torch formed due to electromagnetic induction
