  - Contributed to a cross-sectional study on prevalence of depression, anxiety and stress in medical students across the state of Maharashtra, India.- Role: Lead in data collection via in-person surveys in various medical colleges of Mumbai and online surveys using standardized questionnaires.Collaborator in hypothesis development and study design.- Presented research findings in various national conferences and were awarded in 3 symposium competitions.

  - UK clinical experience that gave me first-hand insights into one of the largest public healthcare system (NHS - National Health Service).- Worked in the Nephrology Department and observed patients mainly of End Stage Renal Disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.- Observed multiple renal transplant operations.- Took history and interacted with patients with various kidney diseases.- Attended team rounds, grand rounds, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

  - One of my first research experiences.- Learned the basics of medical research and the publication process.- Contributed to a retrospective descriptive cohort study on Acute Rheumatic Carditis and Rheumatic Heart Disease cases that were foundincidentally on autopsy.- Role: Lead in the literature review, data collection, and authoring text.- Presented research findings in various national and international conferences and was awarded for it.- 2 papers based on this research have been accepted by PubMed indexed peer-reviewed journals.- 2 chapters on “Silent Rheumatic Mitral Stenosis” and “Rheumatic Heart Disease with Dominant Mitral Stenosis” are accepted by Springerpublications for its upcoming title “Tropical Cardiovascular Pathology”.
