  My primary responsibilities are care custody and control of the inmate population 1996 I started my carrier working at one of the largest Jail facilities on Rikers Island learning the essentials of the job. I worked in various areas including the Inmate recreation, general office, Intake until I was assigned the main clinic on a daily basis providing security and control of the clinic and daily procedures. 2008 I began working in the Correction departments Support Service area. I started out as a inventory specialist. In addition to inventory I worked as a storekeeper my main responsibilities' were the distribution of materials, stocking shelf's, loading and unloading trucks. Once at that location I learned and worked in the Procurement area tracking and controlling the Purchase Orders and other related paper work such as packing slips, invoices, receiving reports and folders I currently work for the Department of Correction main Food distribution Warehouse I control the food orders and ensure the orders requested for the various facilities on and off Rikers Island are correct and received in a timely fashion.
