  Managed Facility budget and helped reduce costs by conducting internal inspections and identifying the root of the problem before calling an external vendor.Additionally, I negotiated contracts with new and existing vendors to get better pricing for services provided. Worked with many vendors to help resolve issues in the office; such as, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, furniture, movers, emergency response and ergonomics. Along with dealing with vendors for unforeseen issues, I have also set up maintenance plans with vendors to help keep up the work place. Those items include maintenance plans for landscapes, flooring, janitorial services, HVAC, server room cooling units, server room back up battery equipment, emergency backup generator and leased office equipment, such as, printers, copiers, fax machines etc. Served as a liaison between the Building Management, Building Engineers and Building Janitorial for our staff. In doing so, I have worked with all three parties to help with the upkeep of our office, fulfill staff requests and accommodations, manage building security and parking needs.Worked with the local Fire Dept. to make sure that all alarm systems comply with city code as well as building codes and made sure that all fire life safety is tested on a quarterly basis. Attended fire life safety training classes to make sure that company is ready for any emergency in the workplace. Conducted training sessions for the Floor Response Team that will assist during emergencies and exercised evacuations. Conducted training sessions for those who are unable to participate in drills and real life emergencies. Participated and led the practice drills for 6 years and have led our groups throughout 2 emergency evacuations.As a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist I have helped reduce the risk of administration related injuries in the work place and create a better work environment for our staff.
