      I’ve recently successfully defended my thesis, and completed my doctoral research requirements. Here is the link to my thesis - https://infoscience.epfl.ch/record/298814My doctoral research at the department of mathematics is centered around the use of multi-level Monte Carlo methods for the accurate and efficient estimation of exotic statistics such as the conditional-value-at-risk. Such methods have widespread uses in science, engineering and finance. My research has been conducted as a part of the EU Horizon 2020 project "Exascale Quantification of Uncertainties for Technology and Science Simulations (ExaQuTe)", a highly applied research endeavour carried out by an international consortium of universities and research laboratories.Some of the courses that I've tutored are as follows:- Stochastic Simulations, a course on stochastic calculus and numerical methods for uncertainty quantification- Parallel and High Performance Computing, a course on MPI, OpenMP and CUDA- Programming Concepts in Scientific Computing, an introductory course on C++ for numerical methods Show less
