      • Oversaw the expansion of the Customer Service Center which is the help-desk for over 1,500 U.S. and Kenyan employees as well as the diplomatic families. Supervised three staff members.• Organized the staffing roles of 1,000+ volunteers for President Obama’s historic visit to Kenya. Received a Meritorious Honor Award from the Department of State. • Resolved the one of the most difficult issues at Mission Nairobi: parking. Overhauled the Parking Policy and enforced penalties for violators. Also reapportioned spaces to improve morale, encouraged carpools, and ordered high-quality signage and parking hang-tags to save money.• Managed the credential process for the Global Entrepreneurial Summit and assisted with the World Trade Organization’s 10th Annual Ministerial Conference.• Worked with the Ambassador to raise $31,596 (a 46% increase over the previous year) from U.S. based companies working in East Africa for the Embassy’s annual Fourth of July event. • Served on the selection committee for the 2016 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.• In 2014, also served in various positions at the Embassy including the Mail Room Supervisor and the Community Liaison Officer.
