      I currently manage projects and supervise Electrical/Instrumentation Technicians in the Technical Services work group of the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Department.My duties include support of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and HMI development used by Water Operations to operate water conveyance, pump stations and flow control facilities.Additionally, we support networked camera surveillance security and access control systems, supervise staff performing networked fiber optic, cellular and wireless communications preventative and corrective maintenance activities and direct staff in the performance of calibration and maintenance of water distribution instrumentation. My Team maintains a database of all calibrations and as well as oversee test and inspection of digital multi-meters used for testing and calibration of instrumentation.In addition, I have responsibility for a two-year Operational Budget including budget development and execution, execute capital purchases and planned equipment replacement budgets. I oversee and schedule staff training and development. With a progressive organizational Capital Improvement Program, I also perform submittal reviews, specification development and review as well as perform inspections on CIP projects. Additionally, our work group is a technical resource with regards to industrial automation systems cyber security including Department of Homeland Cyber Security Evaluation Tool (CSET). I also participate in critical infrastructure security assessments utilizing DHS standards and methodologies. Show less
