  Held positions of increasing responsibility in Education and Visitor Programs department for the private foundation charged with the preservation of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, a UNESCO World Heritage site. • Planned, implemented, and facilitated new hire training for paid staff and volunteers; training programs included more than 40 sessions on Jefferson’s life and career, architecture, relevant history topics, slavery, and the lives of the 600+ enslaved workers who lived at the site. • Pioneered the Volunteer Coordinator role, creating and implementing comprehensive recruitment, retention, and recognition protocols for the newly established volunteer program.
