      AGMARDT is a not-for-profit organisation within New Zealand’s food and fibre sector with a capital fund of approximately $88 million. Reporting to the board of trustees and leading a small team I am responsible for strategic leadership and overall operations of the Trust. Alongside impact-led granting activity, I’m leading several strategic initiatives focused on: investment, leadership development, and strategic grant programme design, and communications. I also sit on a number of advisory and governance groups as part of AGMARDT's focus on strategic partnerships. Building trusted relationships and stakeholder engagement are key strengths of mine and are critical to success in my current role. My relationships span across NZ’s innovation ecosystem including entrepreneurs, funders, government agencies, farmers and growers, agribusiness including Māori agribusiness, research institutions/academia, and industry groups.
