Provided technical support for this new business.Wide Format Ink Jet (WFIJ): Product Management and Marketing support of the WFIJ product line, including: new product sourcing and introduction, forecasting, pricing, marketing materials, technical documents, and sales support. Coordinated the installation of 150 Wide Format printers at Sam’s Clubs throughout the US. This successful introduction lead to Sam’s Club purchasing printers for all 525 stores nationwide and Wal-Mart & Sam’s Club adding Wide Format to their new store template.   As Director of Quality, I drive quality management throughout the organization by making quality a part of the company's culture. I ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS) through development of process, implementation of SOPs, ongoing training, and management of documentation. I foster continual improvement by setting quality goals, conducting internal audits, and a periodic review of the QMS. I direct quality control to develop material and product specifications, and to inspect incoming materials and outgoing product to ensure adherence to customer expectations. I manage customer concerns during quality surveys and audits, as well as through our corrective and preventative action system (CAPA).As Director of R&D for Media Products, I oversee the development and testing of new media products. I am responsible for application engineering, and work closely with Sales to ensure new materials and processes meet the customer’s expectations. As Director of Safety, I oversee the development of safety policies and ensure that they are in compliance with state and federal regulations. A high level of safety compliance is managed through training and regular inspections. Show less
