2012 Fish Camp Namesake Fish Camp - Texas A&M University Jan 2012 Fish Camp, Texas A&M's extended orientation program for incoming freshmen, is divided into seven sessions, each with seven camps. Each camp is named after someone who has contributed to Texas A&M in a positive way. Fish Camp receives several hundred nominations for potential Namesakes every year. Being selected as a Fish Camp Namesake is considered an honor because Namesakes have the opportunity to interact with and impact 2 chairpersons, 24 counselors, and around 150 freshmen in their camp.
