      •Maintained a SQLite database of cooking algorithms, text, and images for a built-in oven GUI•Identified software and hardware issues and implemented fixes by programming/replacing controls•Set up an Electronics Quality Lab to analyze rejected electronic controls from all production lines

      •Drove development of electronic control systems in premium brand ovens and microwaves for current and new products with a global team. •As Controls Lead, launched Whirlpool’s first WiFi connected, 7” LCD touch screen oven. Responsible for $900k budget and cross functional team of 10. Led development of KVP comm. protocol for mobile app, backend servers, and the appliance. Wrote specifications for hardware and software, created controls system block diagrams, and developed test set ups for component reliability and performance. •On-site liaison with manufacturing and lab during 2012 launch of 3 new built-in oven products. Led end of line test station set up and software updates. Supported the reliability, performance and product approval labs; resulting in the top 5 ranked ovens by Consumer Reports. •Coded a communication tool in C# for development and monitoring of cooking products enabling faster and more accurate software debugging and algorithm development. Later managed two engineers on a rotational program, teaching them C# and control algorithms to improve the program. Show less
