  I embarked upon a week of work experience at one of the premier architecture firms within my local area, Lathams. During this time I familiarised myself with the primary software used by architecture firms across the world, SketchUp. I designed and virtually constructed a sustainable communal building that was based upon local context, after collecting primary data from the area myself.Throughout the week I shadowed employees and gathered many skills which included how to solve complex spatial problems, how to appropriately plan projects requiring intricate analysis and also how to manage projects independently and competently.   Within this role, I monitor and run the boat club's social media platforms. I use these tools to promote and enhance the boat club's reputation in order to aid in recruitment, funding and relations with alumni. Recently, I ran an advertisement campaign to recruit participants for a Learn2Row course, which generated upwards of £10000 for the boat club.
