  Worked with divisions/departments to provide technical solutions. Accomplishments: move from many disparate NT 4.0 domains to one MS Active Directory forest, continually modifying the Cyber Security solutions as the threat landscape changed over the span of years, developed a script to eradicate a new virus that was introduced into Abbott that was not detected by the end point protection at the time (McAfee), implemented the first VMware vSphere cluster that hosted multi-tier applications that were used worldwide (supporting over 10,000 clients). Migrated applications/infrastructure to cloud where possible. Developed disaster recovery plans for R&D applications (Siemens TeamCenter, Serena Mashups, etc.). Tested plans on an annual basis. Progressed thru roles at Abbott, starting as a Systems Engineer/Architect, finishing as IT Manager. Show less

  My role at Cima has been to serve as a Senior Consultant and vCIO. During this time I have worked with the leaders in the HyperConverged solutions, e.g., Nutanix, HPE SimpliVity, and VMware vSAN. While employed at Cima I have worked multiple projects, which include: • Moving companies from the standard Server/SAN environment to into HyperConverged environments (Both HPE VSA and Nutanix), • Moved a e-commerce company from all physical servers to VMware running HPE SimpliVity, • A Disaster Recovery project that setup an off-site DR site, developed RPO’s and RTO’s for all their applications, and utilized both active/active and active/passive solutions for their applications.• Moving multiple companies data and servers to the cloud, using IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure and Google cloud.While working at Cima I have obtained multiple certifications/accreditations including VMware VCP6 Data Center, VMware vSAN, IBM Storage, and Nutanix NSEN, NSES and NCPI. I am currently working on my Nutanix NPP-5. Show less
