      As lead barista at the @Spot Cafe my job included closing the shop at the end of the day and counting down the register. My focus was on the coffee program and I instilled the practices of twice a day flushing the groupheads. I taught barista's to soak the portafilter and basket in cafiza solution each night. I took classes at Counter Culture Coffee Chicago to educate myself and expand my experience as a barista.       Serving as Shift Supervisor at this Starbucks location requires great leadership and interpersonal savvy. As the flagship store of Chicago, we are honored as both an evenings and concept store. Show less At the Oak-Rush flagship store we serve alcoholic beverages alongside the coffee drinks. We use an automatic Simonelli espresso machine. However, we also use the Semi-automatic Nuova Simonelli Aurellia II with three groups.As a barista at this beautiful flagship store, I have undergone training in the coffee master program. Being both an evenings store and a clover coffee store has enabled me to work with the alcohol menu as well as the Starbucks reserve line of coffee. As a member of the coffee master round-table I have been able to engage in conversations including marketing and the further advancement of our exquisite lines of coffee.
