  Armor Platoon Leader

  Platoon leader of a Tank Platoon consisting of sixteen soldiers capable of world-wide deployment and conducting combat operations upon arrival. Principle duties include the key areas of tactical employment, training, administration, personnel management, maintenance, and sustainment of the Platoon. Responsible for my subordinate leaders and how to employ the Platoon to accomplish its mission according to the Company Commander's intent. Including analyzing the Platoon's requirements in order to properly resource the sections and ensure the Platoon's success. Responsible for reporting current status and developing situations to the Cmpany Commander in a timely and accurate manner in order to provide the Commander the most amount of maneuver space and time.   Responsible for planning, executing, resourcing, and supervising Company logistical operations to include maintenance of all company vehicles and equipment. Tasked with accountability, documentation, and preservation of Company equipment valued at over $101, 000, 000. Assists the Commander with mission planning and command and control. Serves as the second-in-command and completes actions for the Commander in his absence. Responsible for leading the Company Headquarters and maintianing their health, morale, and welfare. Mentors junior officers in the Company and assists with their professional development. Show less
