      I developed and facilitated training sessions for subcontractors, staff and community participants on social emotional development, health topics, parent and youth engagement strategies. I also secured contracts with schools and community organizations to provide programming to improve health outcomes for youth. My staff and I led a team to expand services to address factors related to teen pregnancy and violence that were gender appropriate (i.e. males, etc.). Furthermore, I directed collaboration with health and community based organizations to provide integrated services that met the needs of youth and their families.       My primary responsibilities were to coordinate grant activities in partnership with the Center for the Advancement of Underserved Children of the Medical College of Wisconsin, as part of a community-based participatory research program. I co-developed and facilitated a Health Behavior Change curriculum for parents and caregivers to increase their confidence in navigating the healthcare system and advocating for their families.       I oversaw data management, analysis and reporting for the agency. As a thought leader and department liaison, I worked to define and implement strategies, policies and recommendations on resource allocation which impacted agency operations. I also provided technical assistance to leaders and facilitated training to align standards, policy & practice with education, health and other key outcome achievement for youth. Most importantly, I revised the organization’s Quality Improvement System using Six Sigma principles to boost effectiveness. In this role, I was responsible for developing processes and partnerships that simplify access to care, resources and programs for people who reside in Milwaukee County. Key Initiatives: American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund Allocation; Community Healing & Family Support (Coordinated Community Crisis Response); Adult Protective Services & Crisis Response; Child Support Services and DHHS Integration I served as a member of the Executive Cabinet of the Dept. of Health and Human Services (DHHS). DHHS is the second largest department in MKE County with a staff of 800+ and a $300MM+ annual budget. I am responsible for the design and implementation of department- wide initiatives and projects.
