      Short Summary: As a Prefect of Dorms at the Bolles School, I did a variety of work to contribute to the well-being of campus residents and staff. Being a Prefect challenged me to be aware of my environment in a different way. This encouraged me to take responsibility and bring my ideas to the table in order to make the Bolles School boarding program to become a better place for everyone.Summary: As a Dorm Prefect at the Bolles School, I undertook diverse responsibilities aimed at enhancing the well-being of both campus residents and staff. This role fostered a heightened sense of environmental awareness, challenging me to assume leadership duties and implement innovative initiatives. I actively engaged in attending parent meetings, organizing and participating in boarding student meetings, planning activities, conducting regular room checks, managing parcels, and collaborating with resident staff to address and resolve any issues. Embracing the values of inclusion, I ensured that all students felt welcomed and valued within the residential community. In my 5-6 weekly hours, I handle opening and closing procedures, ensuring all doors are securely managed. My responsibilities also include maintaining a safe environment for patrons, addressing their concerns promptly, and providing assistance as needed.
