  Optimizing team productivity and systems performance became a key priority in an environment lacking resources and training. Creating urgency and generating a feeling of progress, allowed migrations, security vulnerabilities, and SDLC processes to be resolved while maintaining the all-important, 99.9995 uptime. ✅ Cost Saving of $US23M from capital infrastructure by migrating legacy monolithic IAM Enterprise applications from On-Premises to Microservice design into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The transition from a monolithic architecture using domain-driven design (DDD), allowed the decommissioning of five legacy data centers between 2020 and July 2022 and is set to save the company more than $US100M annually. ✅ Integration of Qualys and Nessus vulnerability management tools onto the Oracle platform allowed the reduction of security vulnerabilities by using ISO 27001 / NIST / PCI / HIPAA policies and security framework allowing a reduction of vulnerabilities by 96%—an achievement that allowed Oracle to become a candidate competing for the US Department of Defence’s JEDI project. While creating a comprehensive CIO dashboard allowed executive management to review vulnerabilities across all platforms. ✅ Implementation and monitoring of Security Information and Event Management System (SIEMS) through auditing. The IAM application provides real-time data to SIEMS, allowing the security team to identify key events such as DDOS, phishing, and suspicious user login events..✅ Architectural Design of Zero Trust solution using both Role and Time base access. The use a number of different technologies such as Microsoft, Okta, and Oracle IDM technologies. The zero-trust solution removes the use of a VPN client to access the network but the user use of VPN/Yubikey and Radius allows the user of critical system. Overall reducing the cost of legacy network systems while still protecting highly critical systems.
