I support and advocate for sanctuary students within, and outside of the institution, and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure the university is a welcoming space for members of our forced migrant communities. I led Birkbeck's University of Sanctuary status submission, which we gained in 2021 and am the current Sanctuary lead for the institution.
