  Employed as an Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities include engineering and design of electrical systems for water, wastewater, fuel, oil, and private applications. Electrical engineering tasks I complete include, applying NEC requirements and regulations, process and instrumentation design and development, equipment layout and site engineering, conduit and conductor sizing, conduit routing, motor control design, power distribution and short circuit analysis, one line diagram development, creation and approval of equipment specifications and submittals. Process and controls engineering I have completed includes design control systems which utilize programmable logic controllers, relay logic, and network equipment to manage systems, automate processes, and provide safe operation. Designed and integrated communications infrastructure such as cellular, radio and fiber networks, motor control systems to ensure motor and pump safe operation, longevity, reliability and automation. For most of the projects I have been involved with I have been project manager or co-project manager in which my responsibilities and tasks included successfully interacting with partners, team members, office personnel and clients, development of engineering proposals, managing budgets and personnel, attending project meetings, corresponding with contractors and engineers of other disciplines, working with suppliers, city councils and private owners, providing electrical engineering consultation, procurement of process instrumentation and controls equipment, creation of management databases and documentation such as process diagrams, control narratives, and equipment management sheets to help owners better understand and control processes and equipment.
