  The Southern Downriver Youth Assistance Program (SDYAP) is a juvenile delinquency prevention and diversion program for youth at risk of entering the juvenile justice system due to a first time minor offense. First time minor offenses often include: incorrigibility, curfew violation, minor in possession or alcohol or tobacco, possession of marijuana, truancy from home or school, driving without a license, disorderly conduct, trespassing, retail fraud, destruction of property, or assault. Referrals to the program often come from school officials, police departments, 3rd judicial court, Correct Course, parents, youth or other concerned persons. Show less

  HAVEN was founded in 1975 as the first and only sexual assault counseling center in Oakland County. In 1977, HAVEN broadened its services to include domestic violence counseling. Today, all of the programs at HAVEN provide specialized, comprehensive services in the areas of domestic violence and sexual assault. By serving the community through a series of innovative intervention, treatment, prevention and education programs, HAVEN can help individuals and families through all stages of crisis and help work toward our goal of eliminating domestic violence and sexual assault.
