      GuildHE champions distinction and diversity in UK Higher Education, represents 60 member institutions, and is the voice of small and specialist HE providers. We lobby for policies that are in the best interest of our members, the sector and students, provide policy advice and good practice guidance, and engage with members and stakeholders through networks and other events. . My policy areas include student experience, student support (mental health, harassment, disability), EDI, postgraduate research students and research policy including open access- I write briefings, provide updates and respond to consultations on policy issues. I engage with members and stakeholders to understand current issues, represent and lobby for our members interests in meetings with stakeholders, deliver events and engagement activity, and think through solutions to current policy challenges in HE- I lead on our organisation's equality, diversity and inclusion programme which encourages members and the sector to approach key issues, challenges, and policy from an EDI perspective. The programme includes briefings, newsletter, lunchtime learning talks, blogposts and EDI network for EDI professionals at our member institutions. - I support the GuildHE Research consortium, which has 31 member institutions. I support delivery of events and engagement as well as policy advice and lobbying on areas such as Postgraduate Research Students and Open Access.- I organise the GuildHE Research Doctoral School and PGR engagement, including GuildHE Research's flagship event, the GuildHE Research Doctoral Festival, a two day residential event which aims to foster connections between and celebrate our community of PGRs, broaden participants' horizons beyond their research, and provide them with the opportunity to learn from speakers and workshops that may otherwise not be available to them- I am the secretariat for the GuildHE Librarians network which meets 3-4 times a year.
