  Production planning and technical services support for all longwall activities. Recently managed a major longwall refurb project involving entire line of face supports and new AFC system. This role includes budgeting and improvement projects along the way. Planned and oversaw work being done by ten crews in three development sections, one of which was home to the world's first entry development machine of it's type. Rotated through various functions within the engineering department: ventilation, development, outby and longwall. Activities included developing a new MSHA approved seal design, designing and overseeing construction projects and an in-panel longwall face shortening exercise.
