      •Provide training workshops for the PATHS® curriculum to teachers and others who are preparing to implement it. •Provide consultation to schools and agencies implementing the PATHS® curriculum regarding implementation quality, data collection, and general program implementation issues.Kim Williams has been working in the field of education implementing prevention programming since 2001. Her work began with the PATHS® curriculum began as a coordinator of a PATHS® implementation in Pennsylvania. She spent several years as a Prevention Coordinator for the EPISCenter at Penn State University supporting large scale statewide evidence-based program implementation. As Knowledge Officer of a non-profit in Tampa, FL Kim led the efforts to increase the number of youth served by the organization from 1800 to 32,000 youth through large scale SEL program implementation through a shifting in service delivery to training and coaching support. Additionally, Kim has grant writing, management, administration, and review experience. Currently, Kim is a Strategy Development Specialist for Aperture Education, a company focused on SEL assessment and researched based strategies to support student success. As a Master trainer for the PATHS® curriculum since 2005, Kim has conducted workshops in the numerous US states and internationally in the Canada, United Kingdom, and China. Show less

      Prevention Coordinator

      Kim Williams is a Prevention Coordinator for the EPISCenter. Her main role is to provide technical assistance to sites implementing evidence-based prevention and intervention programs. Kim is responsible for supporting 3 evidence-based prevention programs: LifeSkills Training, Promoting Alternative THinking Strategies, and The Incredible Years Parent and Child Programs. Kim also has experience with the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. She has completed the LST TOT workshop, various IYS Parent and Child training workshops, the OBPP High School Training workshop, and is a national trainer for the PATHS curriculum. She works at the statewide level to develop resources, lead and coordinate networking amongst evidence-based program providers, and assist sites with data collection and reporting. Kim has been a team member in the development of statewide trainings related to new grantee orientation, sustainability,communicating outcomes, and grant writing. Her training as a grant writer, evaluator, and administrator gives her a well rounded and solid background for assisting sites who are currently or considering implementing Evidence-based programs.
