      Develop and conduct Site Security regulatory Training and Qualification Plan classes for Security Operations personnel at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. Act for the Sr. Manager, Nuclear Security as necessary. Supervise Site Security Training Instructors, Security Coordinators and Administrative personnel. Ensure implementation of the Security Training and Qualification (T&Q) Plan along with other regulatory retraining commitments and nuclear procedures. Supervise the research, development, and implementation of Nuclear Power (NP) security training programs to comply with the NRC guidelines contained in 10 CFR Part 73. Evaluate security instructors to ensure industry security events, site security degradations and student feedback are used to develop/modify course lesson plans, examinations, practical exercises and training aids, and to determine if current training is providing sufficient information and complies with required certifications. Supervise and participate in the conduct of Tactical Response Drills and Force on Force exercises, including planning and scheduling, scenario development, critique and evaluation process, identification and resolution of deficiencies, and appropriate documentation. Conduct and evaluate Site Security response force exercises documenting detailed technical scenarios for review by NRC inspectors. Perform as primary liaison to local law enforcement agencies, U.S. military installations and other Nuclear Security Programs to ensure contingency plans are developed as required by 10 CFR Part 73. Develop and maintain Corrective Actions in accordance with the stations Corrective Action Program. Oversee implementation of the Weapons maintenance, and inventory control programs for the site. Supervise Security Coordinators to ensure appropriate support is provided to Security Operations in the areas of performance improvement, self-assessments, and the Corrective Action Program. Your Management has personally observed you take time during your shifts to engage with your direct reports and keep them updated on medical appointments, MMPI dates, and T/Q dates. Since coming to day shift in January, you have had opportunities to use your conflict resolution skills in dealing with plant employees as well as security officers. Each instance being handled with professionalism and a calm demeanor. You have initiated 20 condition reports in the first half of FY21. The condition reports are varied from equipment issues, to safety issues, to self-identified deficiencies in the field, thus making your participation in the corrective action program exceptional.
