      On leaving school I worked on the building site in Middlesbrough for 10 months whilst waiting to join the British Army.

      Responsible to the Senior Army Command for all areas of administration, financial support, travel, security and stores for an establishment of 78 high ranking/profile officers. Lead and managed a team of 13 administrators ensuring that all administration, financial and travel required by the establishment were delivered effectively within budget guidelines through a comprehensive programme of monthly management checks and quarterly training. Dealt on a daily basis in all areas within the command of Military Scientific advice, Doctrine writing, lessons learn't process and warfare branch's. Provided the Director with monthly breakdown expenditure and supervised the establishment’s budget of £7 million. Along with advice and guidance of future expenditure across both Public and Non Public areas; including advice on Child Education Allowance. Carried out a major overall of the administration and financial support across the establishment due to change in the strategic development of the Army structure. Created, supported and implemented the plan that changed the job roles of every member of the support staff during a time of high operational deployment. Moved in 2016 and undertook almost 2 years as a Regimental Admin Officer of 3 Royal Military Police Regiment and was responsible to the Commanding Officer for all administration, financial (public and non public funds), travel and fraud investigation. Was responsible for a 15 person team spread throughout the mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Served in UK, Germany, Belgium, Canada, United States of America, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Afghanistan. Show less Responsible to the Director Civil Secretariat for all monies held within floats held throughout the Middle East, the payment of all contracts, and all Bank Accounts held by British Forces Middle East. The 5 weekly spend was on average £900 million across 4 different currencies (Pound, Euro, Dollar, Kuwait Dinar). Provided advice and guidance to the Civil Secretariat on the state of all contracts held and paid within the budget. Implemented and supervised the closedown of all public accounts held in the Middle East in preparation for audit of the closedown and withdrawal of all forces from the Middle East. Develop and Manage new pipelines of Regulated Debt by transferring customers over to our 3rd party partners to better stabilise our monthly financial risk. Work directly to The Financial Director and provide advise and guidance on all areas of Debt Recovery, Collection and Chargebacks.Create a process for the handling of all learners with credit agreements who enter into Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA), Debt Relief Orders (DRO), Debt Management Plans (DMP), Breathing Space and those learners who become Bankrupt. Ensure that any process developed is completed in line with Government regulations and is accounted for within the financial monthly and annual budget.Create and manage learners and transfer credit agreements for learndirect and Stonebridge Students over to Premium Credit in line with the Contractual agreement in place. Ensure all are completed within the budget agreed and act as first point of contact with the learners transferred. Develop the Cancellation process to be fair to both the customer and business in line with digital sales.Work with the business, whilst keeping accurate figures of sales, withdrawal's and cancellations across the whole area of business.Drive the online content and development of Information Technologies to ensure all better ways of working and SMART learning techniques are introduced across the Collections platform dealing with ways the Company interacts with customers to save manpower costs whilst ensuring Quality remains extremely high and ensuring a Return of Investment (ROI) across the brand.Manage the area of Financial irregularity including fraud investigation and Chargeback. Work with all Banks to build relationships to ensure Chargeback made are challenged if not valid (currently 97%). Chargeback challenges look at saving £1 million in lost revenue per year (achieved). Be responsible for the 3rd party actions of Chargebacks911 who will challenge 100% of Chargbacks raised in line with current policy.Develop and promote a Debt Collection process to pursue long term debt classified as none recoverable by other means via Litigation and the building of a team to challenge this aged debt via the small claims court process. Work alongside and Thomas Higgins Solicitors and Daniels Silverman to target defaulters to recover the best Return of Investment as possible.
